I don't think he has put down his "baby like him" since we operated on it.

We visited the Fire Station today.  Cade has his baby too.

Then came haircuts.  Cade looks like such a big boy.  His eyes are crazy though.  They  seem to rotate between green, blue, and gray.

Here's a rare picture of Cade and I.  While I think it's a pretty good picture of me, Cade looks like a total cheeseball.  His teeth really aren't that jacked up.  He was in the middle of eating.

Cade has been very interested in Grant's buttons for a few weeks .  Grant refuses to let Cade get near him, so I decided to make both of the boys "babies" with tubes.  Cade was very interested in his baby until Grant picked his up and was very excited saying that now his baby looked just like him.  Cade got sad and said that he didn't have a button and his baby didn't look like him anymore, so I took the button out of Cade's baby.  Now everyone is happy!

One minute before I took this picture, Grant was arguing that he wasn't sleepy.  I looked over and saw him like this.  He is actually asleep with his knee locked to keep him upright.

Cade is seriously dramatic.  He said, "My balloon broken.  It not my party anymore."  He then was able to cry for about 30 minutes about his balloon.  (bad pics from my phone)

Since Grant has been sick for the most part of the last few months, we thought we would try to work on getting him to wear a mask, though I can't imagine he's actually going to wear it when he isn't playing doctor.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at this kid.  He did all of this by himself, and then got very upset that I wouldn't lock it.  At my mom's insistence, I am now going to drill holes in the lid since I have a feeling Grant will be locked in here against his will.

I got stuck on a long phone call.  This is Cade's cue to come up with anything he can to make a huge mess.

This is a box of Carpet Fresh and a huge glass of Diet Coke.  I asked him what he happened and he  said, "I don't know.  I was playing with my fire house".

As I was cleaning up the carpet mess, he got into the chalkboard paint and hit Grant in the head with the paintbrush.  Grant freaked, so I had most of it cleaned up before I could snap a picture.   It's a really good thing Cade is so cute!

Delaney had a doctor's appointment today, so I enjoyed a much needed girls' day.

so Cade destroyed his room without Mom to make him clean it up.

 Since today wasn't an "I'm so cute that you want to take pictures of me," and more of a "hey look, mommy is gonna lose it" type of day, here are a couple of old pics that I found on this computer.

This was one of Grant's favorite things to do in the hospital, play monkey.

Our day of appointments started with a chest x-ray.  This was the first time we had no tears.

This is the fish tank in Dr. McElroy's office.  Every fish has been assigned a member of our family.  I'm trying not to be offended that tbe biggest ugliest fish in the tank is me.

I just thought he looked sweet here, though his hair is a mess.

Our favorite doctor, Dr. Osuntokun, is worth the drive to see, but it made for a long day.
